Free Comic Book Day (eve)

Thats right its coming. Today is the day before FCBD* (*free comic book day). Too long to type so I'll be referring back to the abbreviation. lol. FCBD is an awesome jump on point for new readers of comics. New readers being the young and those interested in hot movie properties out getting a back story. But its about just plain fun. Great titles some you know and others just waiting to open the imagination. FCBD means free, several comic book stores are opening later, having mini-cons, signings, contests, writers,, and artists signings. You can't go wrong here. Ultimate comics on Farrington Rd in Durham/Chapel Hill is promoting FCBD big. So I'll be there tomorrow, boys in tow. lol. With so very few comic stores still around and comics slowly growing back in momentum, FCBD is a great way to fan the flames.
